As a highly experienced advertising executive, Peter is regarded as one of the industry’s leading integrated marketing and communications specialists, with an award winning ability to develop effective strategies that have successfully grown market share for both local and international brands.
Having effectively managed several ad-agency groups over the years, Peter has accumulated extensive experience and is regarded as a leading IMC brand specialist. During his tenure as CEO of Volcano Advertising, the agency was accredited as the leading independent ad-group and was the first African agency to win the coveted ‘AdAge International Agency of the Year award’.
As a board member of ICOM, the world’s largest association of leading independent advertising agencies, Peter served as regional director, successfully developing and rinning a network of 27 agencies throughout Africa and the Middle East.
Currently, as CEO of Grey Africa, Peter‘s primary responsibility is for the growth and overall effectiveness of the regional network, and to strengthen its Pan-African presence. Retaining close contact with the Africa Network members he has confirmed the development of a positive working relationship with Grey’s regional and global associates.
Peter is currently extending the Grey Network across the sub-continent and ensuring continued growth and effectiveness. These activities were recently highlighted by Grey being the first agency to be awarded ‘Africa’s Best Brand’ by the World Federation of Marketing and Africa Leadership Awards.
